How should I brew your coffee for the best results?
Our coffee can be brewed using various methods, including pour-over, French press, and espresso. We recommend experimenting with different methods to find the one that best suits your taste. For optimal results, use fresh, filtered water and grind the beans just before brewing.
What is the best way to store my coffee beans?
To keep your coffee beans fresh, store them in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. Avoid storing them in the refrigerator or freezer, as moisture can negatively affect the beans' quality.
What is the ideal water temperature for brewing?
The ideal temperature for coffee extraction is between 195 to 205F or 90 to 96C.
Which grind size is best for different methods like French press or pour-over?
For a French Press use a coarse grind avoiding small grounds passing through the filter, and for a pour over method a medium- coarse grind is the best for extraction.
How does brewing time affect flavor?
Brewing time is one important factor in order to get the extract the sugar, acid and bitter elements of coffee beans, then shorter time can result in a sour and/or weak coffee, and the prolonged time can result in a bitter coffee.
What are the key differences between popular methods like Chemex, AeroPress, and Moka pot?
The 3 of them bring different coffee experience;
- Chemex uses a thicker filter resulting in a clean and crisp coffee.
